I have always tried to live by a simple moto. 

"There are two kinds of things in this world. Those you can control, and those you can't. If you can control it, then you don't need to worry because you can control it. If you can't control it, then you still don't need to worry, because there's nothing you can do."

 

So, basically, that singing fish was right all along.

Art and literature are some of the things that make me happy, so I made this website as a way to express that joy. In my work I'm especially fond of exploring the relationship between art, nature, and science. Many people think of science as simply a series of facts, but there is also a symbolism to how everything works. The poetry of the universe, as it were. A lot of meaning can be found in something as simple as they way two atoms interact, because, at its core, that is life.

 

With degrees in both writing and animation, I feel like I've been studying all my life. A few years ago I ran into some health issues that really forced me to grow as a person (hence the title of this site). Pseudo Tumor Cerebri, or as I like to call it, ALL THE FUN OF A BRAIN TUMOR WITHOUT THE BRAIN TUMOR! I felt just like the picture above, a little frog weathering the storm. However, I made it, and I'm on my way to becoming stronger than I was to begin with. There's still a ways to go, and some scars will never leave entirely. The whole experience motivated me to really pursue my passions and not waste any time.

Now I'm a published author and can spend my time doing what I love.
